Served in high afternoon fashion in her formal dining room Marian will pamper and impress you with her sizable collection of fine china, crystal, silver and layers of linens. This lovely room is the focal point of the Miller Home with its room-length floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gentle slopes of the Millers' property. In pleasant weather this afternoon tea can be served to you in the garden while you relax and listen to the waterfall that spills into the shimmering pond built from rocks found along the nearby Susquehanna River. Feel free to enjoy the refreshing pool under the sun or stars anytime during your relaxing visit to The Lavender Patch.

The Miller home is conveniently situated within walking distance of the quaint, historic town of Marietta and the Susquehanna River which offers incredible views, hiking trails and fishing. Nearby fine dining and attractions such as the Sight and Sound Theatre, Hershey Amusement Park, Hershey's Chocolate World and so much more await you during your stay in Central Pennsylvania. Lancaster County also offers the most inexpensive local greenhouses boasting a wide range of greenery to suit even the most discriminating buyer. There are quilt and fabric shops galore, wonderful Dutch Country bakeries and tours of Historic or Amish interest to name only a few of all the local attractions available. The Millers have created a self-guided Amish tour and offer the opportunity to experience a dinner prepared by an Amish family and served in their own home (arranged ahead of time).
